half .closed. eyes
Try as she might,
they won't go away
The memories too STRONG,
the pain too /deep,
emotions that won't leave
Just leave, just run
she screams at you
anything, just

She lashes out
at the world
A razor at her
f i n g e r t i p s
What's that word
start's with an s
ends in a cide
[can]'t say the rest
Why's it like that?
Want to do it so bad
...but really?
Just not wanting to
leave everything
she's E V E R had
Just because of
[her battered scars]
Fingers sooth
those (dripping) wounds
whispering sweet
n o t h i n g s
in half-deaf ears
[silencing] her screams
stopping the tears
taking back those
p a i n f u l y e a r s

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
